Day 1:

- Review of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for lab procedures - Demonstration: Phlebotomy safety and order of draw 

Day 2: 

- Venipuncture theory: vein anatomy, site selection, and preparation 

- Hands-on practice: Venipuncture on mannequins 

- Feedback and correction session 

Day 3: 

- Urinalysis overview: purpose, types of tests, and clinical relevance 

- Demonstration: Urinalysis dipstick testing 

- Student practice: Performing urinalysis and recording results 

Day 4: 

- Lab results documentation standards (EHR entry and paper forms) 

- Practice exercise: Entering sample lab results into simulated EHR 

- Group discussion on accurate reporting and avoiding errors 

Day 5: 

- Skills check-off for phlebotomy and urinalysis procedures 

- Peer review and instructor feedback 

- Short quiz on lab safety, phlebotomy steps, and urinalysis process
